Designed with the concept of "Pure Power in Your Control" in mind, the WRX is a real phenomenon in the sports car market. How so? Well, it is fundamentally based on the combination of two important elements, which affect the quality of the ride: achieving the best performance of a sports car, and providing full comfort for the driver with the addition of being environmentally friendly. Thanks to this, the new WRX is not only a real toy for big boys - a lightweight frame, sport LINEARTRONIC transmission, 4-wheel drive (AWD Symetrical), and an excellent grip on the road, all mean that everyone wants to take it for a drive. But apart from this, the new Subaru model also applies unique solutions for comfort and the environment. The modern two-litre DIT engine produces significantly less exhaust while producing the full power of turbocharging. It boasts a maximum of 268 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 258 lb. ft. of torque from 2,000 to 5,200 rpm.
In the 2015 Subaru WRX we have a hood with a large air intake and an aggressive front bumper. We can also see a rear bumper with a diffuser and 17 inch aluminium wheels. The vehicle width is highlighted by specially designed rear combination lamps, which have been given a thin shape. The subtle spoiler on the boot lid enhances aerodynamic performance, and so does the shark fin antenna. New LED lighting has been installed for the headlights, tail and brake lights to conserve power and hence improve fuel efficiency.
And what about comfort? Cosy, contoured, leather-covered seats, the modern dashboard and upgraded transmission, allow for quick and easy gear changing. This is just a little pinch of what the new WRX hides inside it.
Inside, the owner of a new Subaru WRC feels at home. Sit back in a leather sports armchair and relax after a hard day of work. Full relaxation is served via high-quality audio equipment - a new harman/kardon audio system and an Aha radio, available with select models.
